Breathing Again
For the last few months, my daughter, her children, and I have endured quite a significant amount of betrayal and hardship. Someone we both assumed was a loyal friend turned out to be a spiteful enemy. Discovering this was heartbreaking. We had to move into this person's home, when we moved to Ohio, because otherwise we would've been homeless; and homelessness is not something toddlers need to experience. While we lived with this person and her family, my daughter was treated like a servant, forced to give up her food stamps for the other family, and psychologically abused by her and her boyfriend. Since moving out, they've deliberately set out to defile mine and my daughter's reputations; slowly, the loyal friends we still have, are also cutting all ties with this other family.
